This was definitely a memorable Grub Club evening...I think the pre-dinner drinks started this night off right as well as the fact that we had our own private room! Cross Keys was a great pick! Unfortunately they had planned to close a few days after we went...hopefully the new owners carry on the great food and service! I had the Seared sea scallops with pancetta and it was delicious and as a bonus - the martinis were reasonably priced and phenomenal! ...we promised we would post a picture of our waiter who put up with our antics all evening...
Loved the salmon and potato pancake appetizer. I also had the pork chop which was excellent. We were a very "festive" group and having a private room was a bonus. Fortunately the waiter played along. The wine list was varied and relatively reasonably priced. Great pick--too bad it is closing!
