  1. This was a fantastic restaurant. We accidentally went during 'restaurant week' which enabled us to pick from a fixed menu...you could choose a starter, main dish and dessert for $25! A lot of people in our party went with that and I didn't hear one person complain about their dish. I opted to choose something off of the regular menu..it was a grilled shrimp dish with lots of veggies. It was very tasty. I must say - I learned of a new drink that I loved...Caipirinha (Thanks Ryan!). I would recommend this place and will be returning soon hopefully!

  2. This was my 2nd visit to Alma. I also ordered off the regular menu. I started with the mango and arugula salad and had the ox tail as my main dish. I really enjoyed my entree--a perfect pick for a snowy evening. It had been slow cooked and fell off the bone. I paired it with a Pinot Noir. I enjoyed the greens that were on the side. On my next visit I need to be more adventurous on my appetizer and drink selections.

  3. First time here, have heard good things. I started off w/ the scallop appetizer. This was the worst part of the experience. They were sub-compact sized, served in a large shell, and drowned in lemon juice. Would recommend avoiding this. The salad of was good, think it was arugula. Main course had the amberjack. Seasoned well, served w/salsa and guac. The dish screamed of freshness, very pleased. Menu can appeal to all, very reasonably priced.
