  1. Not sure if it is usually - but it was BYOB when we went which was a bonus for our group! The food was very good..but they have large portions. Their prices were very good as well - we shared 4 appetizers, each had an entree and we shared 4 desserts (which was too much!) and our bill was only $27 a person! The fried dough with honey and tiramisu were amazing!

  2. I really enjoy the appetizers--bruschetta and greens and beans were my favorites. I had the seafood risotto which had a fair amount of shrimp and crabmeat. There were a few items on the menu that weren't available--the salumi platter and there were only 2 of the four desserts listed on the menu. Not sure if this is a middle of the week issue. I would go back again.

  3. This was a great pic in Oakmont. Great prices and the BYOB was a nice surprise. For a place this size, byob is perfect. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of items on their menu which was disappointing. In addition, they changed a lot of items that are currently on their menu. It might be better to do a daily menu instead of having the waitress list off everything they are out of and the changes on the menu. That's embarassing for the server.

The shrimp brushetta was my favorite appetizer. The crab risotto was great. Shrimp and crab were plentiful and the risotto was cooked perfectly. I'm not a tiramisu fan but this tiramisu was very good and a huge portion. And who could forget the fried dough balls!

  4. This place was a lot smaller than I anticipated. I would recommend reservations if you are going on a busy night.

I absolutely loved the greens and beans. Even though its listed as a side, we had it as an appetizer. I also liked the little pizza that we had as an appetizer, it was very crispy. It has the perfect amount of garlic. The bruschetta was very flavorful and was served on a giant piece of toasted bread. For my dinner, I had pasta in their diavolo sauce. It lived up to the expectation and was HOT! The fried dough was fantastic, it was served with a whipped cream. The cream wasn't too sweet which balanced out the sweetness of the honey that was on top of the fried dough.

    I'd definitely go back!
