  1. I cannot believe that we have been participating in Grub Club for so many years and it has taken us so long to get to Spoon. I love the decor of the restaurant and the waitress and service were top notch. The warm biscuits and muffins they brought out at the beginning were delicious...the sour cream and chive biscuits that had cream cheese in the middle were amazing! The menu is for people who are into trying different items. I tried duck for the first time (I know - I am not THAT adventurous) and it was very good. I had the white fish (fluke) over beans and greens which I would definitely recommend. The menu was pretty pricey but we knew this going in and were prepared for it. It was a nice night out.

  2. This was my third visit to Spoon. The service is always excellent. I started with the gorganzola souffle with arugula and beet salad. It was delicious. I also had the fluke. It was a nice size portion--sometimes that is not the case with fish at upscale restaurants. The bread basket was excellent (we loved the special butter too). Only downside was that the wine prices were a bit high. Would definitely go back!

  3. Spoon was my pick and I was extremely happy with it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. I had a sampling of each of the appetizers and every one was more delicious than the last. For my entree, I had the black cod pad thai. It was fabulous, great portion size for the price. I split the Spoon bar for dessert... decadent. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back!
