  1. Kaya is in a good location, right in the strip district. I had the Jamaican Green Curry Vegetables with shrimp and it was very tasty. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it is uniquely decorated and adds to the atmosphere. They have unique specialized drinks...one of the popular drinks with our crew was the Lava Lover!

  2. I had some concern about trying to find a parking space in the strip district during dinner, but I had no problem. I loved the hot bean dip, it had just enough heat. My Kaya Burger was huge and delicious. I also recommend the mango frozen mojito!

  3. I ordered the fish tacos as they got rave reviews on Urban Spoon. I was disappointed--the breaded fish was clearly frozen and lacked flavor. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their entrees so I think it was just what I picked. I really enjoyed the conch fritter appetizer, mussels and the black bean dip. The ahi tuna was just average. We shared 2 desserts--both the bread pudding and the creme brulee were hits. We were there during Happy Hour so the specialty drinks for 50% off which was a nice bonus. The bar service was slow and while our waitress was efficient she was not very welcoming. I would go back but focus on the small plates.
